Friends In Translation Campaign

Breaking Language Barriers Through Inclusive Design and Color

My Role: Graphic Designer (Student) | Year: 2021

Overview

This campaign helps non-English speakers navigate healthcare by providing essential resources in a welcoming, approachable way. I used design elements like chat bubbles, quotation marks, soft inviting colors, and diverse imagery to create a friendly, accessible environment for users who may feel intimidated in medical settings. The website serves as both an awareness platform and a resource hub, offering access to local interpreters and a specialized medical translator. Additional assets, including simple medical cards and a dynamic animated poster featuring a blurred pill bottle label, reinforce the message and resonate with non-native English speakers.
